Better Innovation Technologies is born: method, governance and AI for organizational transformation

The starting point isn't an idea: it's a method already tested on real projects.

Better Innovation Technologies is born: method, governance and AI for organizational transformation

The company and the reason it exists

Better Innovation Technologies was founded in Bari in November 2025 as an innovative startup. Its purpose is precise: to accompany organizations in the transition toward operating models that integrate artificial intelligence in a structured, governed and sustainable way over time.

The project was not conceived on paper. It comes from years of direct work on complex business transformations, automation of critical processes and digital governance in contexts where the traceability of decisions is a requirement, not a preference. The founding is the moment that approach takes on a stable, scalable form.

How we work

The BIT method is built on three operating principles that guide every project.

The first is the priority of process over technology: every engagement starts from analyzing what people do, how they do it, and where AI brings a measurable advantage. The tool follows the diagnosis, not the other way around.

The second is governance as infrastructure: digital transformation without control is operational risk. BIT builds frameworks and architectures that make automated processes traceable, auditable and bound to explicit policies.

The third is the transfer of capability: at the end of every project, the client must be able to independently manage what has been built. Dependence on the vendor is not an acceptable delivery model.

Proprietary products

Among its first deliverables are two assets that operationally set BIT apart.

AIRA™ — AI Readiness & Adoption — is the methodological framework for assessing and implementing AI in complex enterprise contexts. It defines roles, responsibilities, metrics and processes, with the goal of making AI adoption a structured, measurable path.

CronOS is the open-source runtime for the policy-driven orchestration of human and non-human agents. Every action coordinated by CronOS is authorized by an explicit policy, traced with immutable audit records and interoperable through the Kronoid standard.

In the words of the founders

”I chose to found BIT because I have too often seen AI used as a marketing argument rather than a real lever for change. We wanted to build something concrete: a method, a framework, a team able to work inside companies’ processes and truly transform them. Not announcements — results.”

Francesco Bellifemine, Co-founder and Managing Director

”BIT exists to close a gap I see every day: on one side, companies with mature processes but digitally stalled; on the other, powerful technologies that no one knows how to bring into production in a stable, governed way. We are the point of contact between these two worlds, and what excites me most is that today that point genuinely exists.”

Felice Vitulano, Co-founder and CTO

Bari, Southern Italy, the market

BIT is registered in Bari. The choice reflects a precise stance: the South needs technology models built here, for the local context, with the ability to then be applied elsewhere. The goal is not visibility — it is generating qualified jobs and measurable economic value through documentable projects.

The coming months will define the first market partnerships and the pilot use cases on which to build public evidence.
