BIT and LUO sign a strategic agreement for BPO Digital as a Service
Better Innovation Technologies and LUO, a contact center based in Molfetta, have signed a multi-year strategic agreement to move LUO toward a BPO Digital as a Service model. At the center of the project: the AIRA framework, the CronOS platform and the creation of LUO Digital.
The agreement
Better Innovation Technologies and LUO — formerly Network Contacts, a contact center based in Molfetta — have signed a multi-year strategic agreement. The goal is to redesign LUO’s operating model toward a BPO Digital as a Service: fully digitalized processes, continuous availability, real-time reporting, a redesigned cost structure and quality measured on outcomes.
The project has been operational since early 2026 and develops along four simultaneous axes.
Internal training: LuoLab
The first axis is training. LuoLab is the applied-AI enablement program that turns LUO’s people into orchestrators of digital processes. It focuses on three roles: AI Process Owner, AI Coordinator and AIRA framework consultant. The first cohort completed the program in March 2026.
Process automation with AIRA
The second axis is automation. Through BIT’s AIRA framework, LUO is mapping and automating its own operational processes. Every process automated internally becomes a documented proof of concept, reproducible for clients: LUO will sell a model already in production, not a promise.
LUO Digital
The third axis is infrastructural. LUO Digital is born, the technology business unit that gathers the digital initiatives, builds the shared AI architecture and supports the delivery of the new services. It is the structure that makes the transformation sustainable beyond the initial project.
The new services
The fourth axis is commercial. LUO is preparing to launch BPO Digital as a Service — fully managed processes in digital mode, with outcome-based pricing — and AI as a Service, proprietary AI infrastructure made available to clients for their own processes. LUO thus occupies a market position that pure technology providers, lacking consolidated operational know-how, cannot cover.
In the words of Francesco Bellifemine
”With LUO we have found a partner that understands digital transformation is an organizational choice, not an IT project. The operational know-how they have built over years of work on complex processes is the real asset to value. We bring the method and the technology; they bring knowledge of the real business. Together we are building something the market cannot yet name, but needs now.”

The project with LUO is the first documented case of the BIT method applied to an organization with hundreds of operators and established processes. The results of the first months of LuoLab and the AIRA automations will be shared in the coming months.
